Claudia Richli
co-Founder of the life of movement
Through movement, I can feel, and express, my full humanity.
Dance has always been an integral part of my life, from my days as a professional dancer, to my life as a mother and integrative movement practitioner. As with many of the mothers I support, matrescence was a time of profound metamorphosis for me, full of identity shifts and emotional contradictions. Movement not only helped me navigate this time, it helped me become more of myself.
And so, in 2018, I began holding dance spaces for mothers, and have since gone on to study Rudolf Laban’s movement theories and Dance Movement Psychotherapy, as well as created training programs that integrate the physical and emotional aspects of movement.
I believe in the power of movement to help us live in deeper harmony with ourselves, and with the world.
Our bodies hold so much wisdom. By being more embodied, we become more expressed and empowered in our lives. By increasing our movement range, we literally rewire our brain to hold wider perspectives, emotions and possibilities.
This is why I am so devoted to movement education, not only for mothers but for everyBODY; not only for dancers, movement practitioners but for anyone who believes in a more embodied way of being.
